PSV Eindhoven are close to completing the signing of Noa Lang from Club Brugge, according to Rik Elfrink. The Dutch winger was photographed in Eindhoven on Thursday morning alongside his agent Ali Dursun. The talented 24-year-old is expected to undergo medical tests soon before officially signing for PSV.
Lang has been a serious target for PSV for a while now. The Netherlands international has just experienced a successful season with Club Brugge. Last campaign the former Ajax man scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 40 appearances for the side that finished fourth overall in the Belgian Pro League.
After the departures of Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke in January, strengthening the wing positions has become a priority for PSV this summer. Now, that left-wing position looks like it will be filled heading into the new season. Noa Lang is set to become Peter Bosz’s second signing as PSV’s new head coach. The former Lyon and Bayer Leverkusen manager took over at the Philips Stadion last month, following Ruud van Nistelrooy’s resignation.
