Willy and Rene van de Kerkhof both believe that PSV are a better team than Ajax now.
Ajax currently sit top of the Eredivisie, one point ahead of PSV with a game in hand, but it hasn’t been a good start to the season for the reigning champions.
They’re already out of the Champions League after losing twice to both Napoli and Liverpool and have struggled at times domestically too.
The same can be said for PSV but they seem to be on the up since key players have returned from injury, with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side beating Arsenal 2-0 last week before winning 3-0 against NEC Nijmegen.
The two sides will go up against one another at the weekend, and the Van der Kerkhof brothers think PSV will prevail.
“Everyone is now in the right place. The team is on track and will continue to thunder. PSV are now also stronger than Ajax,” said Willy on their podcast.
“PSV is the better one at the moment,” Rene added. “I think the smiling faces could go to Eindhoven on Sunday.”
