Predicted PSV XI vs FC Zurich

PSV will be aiming to win three matches in a row for the first time since August when they play host to FC Zurich in the Europa League.

Big questions were being asked of Ruud van Nistelrooy after he led his side to a 3-0 defeat to Cambuur but the team have responded well since then, beating Zurich 5-1 and Heerenveen 1-0, both away from home.

They can all but guarantee that they won’t finish bottom of their Europa League group if they beat the Swiss side again, but don’t have anything close to a fully fit selection for the match.

Luuk de Jong, Mauro Junior and Noni Madueke are not yet ready to return and have been joined on the sidelines by Ismael Saibari and Yorbe Vertessen.

Due to those injuries, Anwar El Ghazi is expected to start upfront with Erick Gutierrez coming into the midfield, pushing Joey Veerman further forward and Xavi Simons out wide.

Here’s how they’ll most likely line up: Benítez; Mwene, Ramalho, Obispo, Max; Sangare, Veerman, Gutierrez; Simons, El Ghazi, Gakpo.
