Phillip Mwene says that there has been a “really big change” for the better at PSV following team discussions held in the aftermath of the defeat to Cambuur.
Mwene and co were humiliated away to Cambuur, losing 3-0 in a match where they were second-best to their opponents for the majority of it.
They’ve responded well though, following it up with good wins away to Zurich and Heerenveen, and Mwene says he can see a big change.
He feels such a change has been caused largely by discussions held between the players.
“After the defeat against Cambuur, we spoke together, not only the trainers but also us as a team,” he told Voetbal International.
“We were looking for a way to play really concentrated, play aggressive football in all the games to come. It doesn’t matter if it’s small or big clubs.
“I have felt a change in the dressing room after those conversations. We really stick together as a group now, we fight and run for each other now. This is a really big change.”
