PEC Zwolle sign former Orlando City winger on loan from SC Cambuur

PEC Zwolle have announced the signing of Silvester van der Water on loan for the rest of the season. The 27-year-old winger joins from Dutch second tier side SC Cambuur, where he has made nine appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists. The Eredivisie side have not indicated that a purchase option has been included in the deal, with der Water’s contract at Cambuur running until the summer of 2025.

The 27-year-old Dutch winger began his career with Almere City FC, playing 65 times and scoring 21 goals. After a few seasons with Heracles he left the Netherlands and joined Orlando City in the MLS. After 34 appearances and three goals for the side, he returned to the Netherlands to sign with Cambuur in the summer of 2022. He played 23 games for the side last season as they were relegated from the first tier of Belgian football, scoring one goal.
