Oostende bring in Mateo Barac to boost league’s worst defence

Oostende have announced the signing of Mateo Barac on loan from Krylia Sovetov Samara in Russia. The central defender has joined initially on loan, but the relegation threatened side also included a purchase option in the deal. The 28-year-old has played 12 games in all competitions for Krylia and only joined the side in the summer from Sochi.
