OH Leuven have announced the signing of Youssef Maziz from French side FC Metz. The 25-year-old French midfielder has signed a contract for three years with the side and becomes their tenth signing of the window. Maziz has experience already of playing in Belgium, having spent one season on loan with RFC Seraing. During his time with the Liege based side, he helped them avoid relegation from the Pro League with eight goals and eight assists in 33 games.
Maziz has been with FC Metz since 2015, with time spent out on loan at the likes of Avranches and Le Mans. After returning from Seraing he helped Metz return to Ligue 1 and has scored nine goals in 33 games. He started twice for the side this season in their return to the French top flight, scoring in the 5-1 defeat to Rennes.
OH Leuven are one of five teams in the Pro League yet to win a game. On Friday they face another side who are yet to win in Kortrijk.
