Feyenoord have announced the signing of Brazilian winger Igor Paixão, who joins the Rotterdam club on a five-year deal.
Arne Slot and co have been linked with Paixão throughout this transfer window after the 22-year-old impressed in his home country last season, scoring 10 goals in 26 appearances in the first division.
A deal has been done for some time now, with it being reported in early August that he was going to join the club, and move has now been made official.
“It’s a big dream for me that comes true to play for a big European club like Feyenoord,” he told the club’s website.
“I’ve worked hard to be where I am today and I’m ready to help the team, both on and off the field. I hope I can contribute to the group with my way of playing.”
It has been reported that the club have paid somewhere between €5 and €6 million for his services, not including potential bonuses.
