Nottingham Forest and Stuttgart agree deal for Orel Mangala

Belgium international Orel Mangala is close to joining English Premier League club Nottingham Forest, who have agreed a deal with Stuttgart.

Mangala, who made his international debut in March, has been subject to interest from Forest and West Ham throughout this transfer window.

It now looks as if the former of the two clubs has won the battle for his signature, having a bid of just over €15 million accepted by his current side, Stuttgart.

As per Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the 24-year-old has passed his medical examination and will join up with his new club before the start of the league season.

There, he will most likely be a key player, and playing at such a high level should improve his chances of going to the World Cup later this year.

Stuttgart meanwhile have made a huge profit after buying him from Anderlecht for just €1.8 million back in 2017.
