Noa Lang given driving ban as Judge doesn’t recognise the Dutch international

Club Brugge winger Noa Lang has received an 8 day driving bine and a fine of 600 euros for a speeding offense. As reported by Het Nieuwsblad, the 23 year-old Dutch international was going 119 kilometres per hour in a 70 zone. There was a slight moment of humour as it became clear that the judge did not recognise the Club Brugge star, asking the players lawyer what Lang does for a profession.

Lang made just one appearance for the Dutch national team at the World Cup, coming in the final minutes against Argentina.

Despite major transfer speculation linking the winger with both Leeds United and AC Milan, Lang remained at Club Brugge over the summer. He has made 12 appearances in the Pro League this season, scoring twice and providing two assists. Lang had hoped that the World Cup would provide a transfer boost, yet despite his lack of appearances there are reports that both AC Milan and Leeds remain interested in the 23 year-old.
