HLN are reporting that both Serie A’s Napoli and Ligue 2 side Paris FC remain interested in Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu. The winger had looked set to leave Belgium for Brazil, but it appears he would prefer to remain in Europe if possible. While France and Italy are options, he could also stay in Belgium with Anderlecht.
Amuzu, while immensely talented, has really struggled with injuries over the past few seasons. These have really stopped him turning into a player that many believed would be one that could join the likes of Napoli or other big clubs in Europe’s top five leagues. The 25-year-old, who is eligible to represent both Belgium and Ghana, has played 28 games this season, scoring four goals and grabbing two assists. He has struggled to reach the numbers he put up in the 2021/2022 season, where he scored 10 goals and grabbed three assists in 46 games.
If Amuzu were to leave Anderlecht today, he would do so having made an impressive 251 appearances and scoring 28 goals.
