Napoli join Lille, Burnley and Crystal Palace in battle to sign Mike Tresor

Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that recently crowned Serie A champions Napoli have joined the race to sign Genk’s Mike Tresor. The recently capped Belgian 24-year-old has also been attracting interest from Burnley, Lille and Crystal Palace in recent weeks. Genk have set a price tag of at least €20m for the winger who set the record for the most amount of assists in a single Belgian Pro League season. As a result, Tresor was crowned as the leagues player of the season.

Tresor finished the season with an incredible 24 assists in 42 games, alongside eight goals. He took up the mantle from the departing Junya Ito and Theo Bongonda to push Genk towards a title. They were ultimately pipped to the trophy by a late Toby Alderweireld goal on the final day of the season.

Should the sides interested meet the valuation the club has for the winger, Tresor will have plenty of options in terms of what league he wants to play in.
