Napoli and PSG show interest in PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko

According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in PSV Eindhoven right-winger Johan Bakayoko. The talented 20-year-old is on the radar of several top clubs, but the French and Italian champions are expected to submit offers soon. PSV are reluctant to sell the player and will only listen to offers higher than €30m.

PSG were reportedly prepared to pay €15m including bonuses for Bakayoko back in January. However, the French giants were immediately informed that the Belgium international would not be leaving the Philips Stadion. PSG still have eyes on Bakayoko, but they’ll have to pay more than double the amount they offered in January. Serie A champions Napoli are currently on the lookout for a new right-winger. Their Mexican magician, Hirving Lozano has been heavily linked with a move away, which would open a spot for Bakayoko.

Johan Bakayoko featured 39 times in all competitions last season as PSV finished second in the Eredivisie and lifted the KNVB Cup. The PSV academy graduate scored nine goals and provided six assists. On Sunday he scored the only goal in PSV’s preseason victory over Nottingham Forest. Johan Bakayoko’s management recently confirmed to Voetbal International that the player is happy at PSV and he wants to be playing and developing each week under Peter Bosz.
