As per Voetbal International, NAC Breda have completed the signing of Jayden Candelaria. The 21-year-old left-back has left Feyenoord to sign a three-year contract. NAC also have a one-sided club option for an additional season.
NAC have completed their defence with the signing of Candelaria. The wing-back, who played some minutes for Feyenoord during pre-season but didnโt make his official debut for the Rotterdam side, will essentially start as captain Boy Kemperโs understudy.
โThe move to NAC feels like the perfect one for me,โ Candelaria said on his new clubโs website. โI can further develop myself here in Breda and get acquainted with the Eredivisie level. Of course, Iโve already heard good things about Avondjes NAC (fans), so I canโt wait to get on the pitch and put on a show with my teammates.โ
Candelaria played for Feyenoordโs reserves for the past three seasons, but injuries ultimately prevented him from making the final step to the first team. Candelaria joined Feyenoord from Sparta Rotterdam at a young age and played several international matches for various youth sides within the Dutch national set-up.
