NAC Breda have approached Kostas Lamprou to join during the winter break, Voetbal International have reported. With the North Brabant club looking to add to their goalkeeping pool, it seems this is a challenge that the Greek free agent will welcome.
Lamprou has been without a club since last summer, after leaving Feyenoord on a free transfer. NAC sees the 33-year-old goalkeeper as an experienced stand-in for Daniel Bielica. The 25-year-old Pole currently has Roy Kortsmit and Tein Troost behind him in the pecking order.
With Lamprou, NAC would attract a goalkeeper with extensive experience in the Eredivisie on his CV. Previously, he has turned out for Ajax, Excelsior, Feyenoord, PEC Zwolle, RKC Waalwijk, Vitesse, and Willem II – while playing 186 matches at the highest level in the Netherlands.
