Marko Ilic looking to move after being overtaken by Tom Vandenberghe

As reported by Elian Coussement, Bernd Storck has revealed that young Serbian goalkeeper Marko Ilic has asked for a transfer. Following an illness, Tom Vandeberghe deputised in goal and impressed enough to take the number one spot. Storck had said he told Illic that Vandeberghe had a further three games to prove he deserves to remain number one, but it appears that Illic is not willing to wait for the outcome.

Since taking over from Adnan Custovic, Storck has been looking to make wholesale changes to the Kortrijk squad. While losing Illic was by no means part of the plan, many other players have been moved to the B team and told to look for new teams. Didier Lamkel Ze has moved to Morocco and joined Wydad Casablanca, while Aleksandr Radovanovic, Alexandre De Bruyn and Amine Benchaib are all on the transfer list.

Kortrijk have also been active in bringing players in, with Martin Wasinski, Hertha Berlin young defender Christalino Atemona and winger Martin Regali from Slovakian side Ruzomberok.
