Manchester United showing interest in Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow

Manchester United are showing concrete interest in Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, according to 1908.NL. The Eredivisie champions are hoping that Bijlow will sign a new deal with the club despite the interest. The 25-year-old shot-stopper kept 12 clean sheets in 25 league appearances last season.

David de Gea is out of contract at Manchester United, and it’s looking likely that the Spanish goalkeeper will leave Old Trafford as a free agent. United have been exploring the market for a new goalkeeper and Justin Bijlow has come to the club’s attention. The Premier League side have reportedly been working on the arrival of Andre Onana from Inter Milan, but if they’re unable to sign the Cameroonian, they could turn to Bijlow.

Feyenoord are hoping that Bijlow will sign a contract extension. The new Netherlands number one has two years remaining on his current deal. Justin Bijlow is currently valued at approximately €15m, but it’s likely that Feyenoord will ask for more. In total, Bijlow has played 119 times for Feyenoord, keeping 45 clean sheets.
