As per Voetbal International, Vitesse have announced that Woolsocks and Frank Energie will remain with the club as their main sponsors.
The news comes as a significant boost for Vitesse, after the club recently regained its license (provisionally), allowing it to participate in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie season, albeit with a delayed start. This adds to more solid news that Vitesse recently sold over 12,000 season tickets.
โThe support of Woolsocks and Frank Energie is invaluable to the club, but above all to our supporters. They benefit directly from this partnership,โ said general manager Ben Mansvelder.
โSupporters are the backbone of the club. While Vitesse went through a difficult period, they remained unconditionally loyal. With our partnership, we not only want to recognise that loyalty, but also to tangibly reward it,โ said Niels Klok on behalf of Woolsocks and Frank Energie. Vitesse supporters who sign an energy contract with Frank will reportedly receive the new Vitesse away shirt.
Vitesse kicked off the Keuken Kampioen Divisie season last Friday with a 4-0 away defeat against Jong AZ. Tonight, the club play away at RKC Waalwijk.
