HBVL are reporting that Lyon and unnamed Premier League clubs are showing interest in Charleroi’s Algerian midfielder Adem Zorgane. The paper is reporting that it is unlikely that the 23-year-old will be in Belgium next season given the interest in him and the relatively mediocre season that Charleroi are having.
Zorgane has been in fine form this season, with three goals and seven assists in his 23 league games. The Algerian international joined in the summer of 2021 from Paradou AC. He has played 62 games for the Zebras, scoring six goals.
The midfielder is currently leading the league when it comes to passing accuracy. The 23-year-old Algerian international averages 60.6 accurate passes per 90 according to FotMob. Remarkably, he is the only central midfielder in the top five, with the other four being central defenders. Given his role in the build up for Charleroi, Zorgane’s 60 plus accurate passes give him an over pass success of 82.5%. Until recently he was leading this category in the Belgian Pro League.
