Luton Town considering deadline day move for Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek

According to the Independent, Luton Town are considering a deadline day move for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek. Several sides have shown interest in the Dutchman this summer, but he’s yet to leave Old Trafford having fallen down the pecking order at the club.

Newly promoted Luton Town are still looking to strengthen their squad ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline. Donny van de Beek is reportedly a top target for head coach Rob Edwards. So far this summer, Luton have brought in 11 new signings, including Ross Barkley, Issa Kaboré, Teden Mengi, Ryan Giles and Thomas Kaminski. They’ve also signed Dutch duo Tahith Chong and Tim Krul.

A move away from Manchester United would be beneficial for Donny van de Beek. The 19-time Netherlands international has featured just 10 times for United since Erik ten Hag’s arrival. Other clubs including Lorient and AS Roma have recently shown interest in the former Ajax midfielder, but Luton could soon make a move.
