Luton Town among the clubs interested in Birmingham City’s Dutch winger Tahith Chong

Luton Town are among the clubs interested in Birmingham City winger Tahith Chong, Mail Sport reports. Chong impressed in the Championship last season, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 38 appearances. Birmingham value the former Netherlands youth international at £5m, and newly promoted Luton want the 23-year-old winger.

Chong spent four years at Manchester United before joining Birmingham for just £1.5m last summer. In total, the former Feyenoord academy player made 16 first-team appearances for the Red Devils. The Dutchman went on loan to Werder Bremen and Club Brugge before joining Birmingham City on loan in 2021. His loan was then made into a permanent deal last summer.

Now, a chance to return to the Premier League is on the horizon for Tahith Chong. Birmingham could be keen to sell the player in order to raise funds for more signings. Other clubs are also said to be interested in the versatile winger.
