Ligue 1 returnees keen on Feyenoord’s Givairo Read

Feyenoord’s Givairo Read is being monitored by Paris FC, according to Feyenoord Transferkmarkt.

Paris gained promotion to the top tier in France with a second-place finish in Ligue 2 last season and ended a 46-year absence. Now, Les Bleus aim to capture the Feyenoord youngster’s signature to help their mission to beat the drop.

Stéphane Gilli’s side are reportedly “serious about the talented right-back” and want to “pry” the 19-year-old loose. They previously hit a wall with Hamari Traoré (Real Sociedad) and Anton Gaaei (Ajax). However, Read is considered “the dream candidate” for the Ligue 1 club, where funds are comfortable.

According to Feyenoord TM, an opening bid is on its way. The Rotterdam club aren’t said to be keen on a departure and will only negotiate further with the French party for moderate amounts.
