Leeds, Southampton and Tottenham interested in Genk’s Dimitri de Condé

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Leeds, Southampton and Tottenham are all interested in Genk’s sporting director Dimitri de Condé. De Condé has been in charge at Genk since 2015, in which time he has reportedly made almost €300m in player sales. Genk and de Condé have dealt with Southampton recently, having sold their top scorer Paul Onuachu in January.

Although the side were top going into the championship play-offs, they have struggled to rediscover their regular season form. After a 1-1 draw with Union St Gilloise last weekend, their chances of winning the title for the first time since 2019 under Philippe Clement.

They face Club Brugge this weekend, a side that has recently announced a new head coach. Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila has left Standard Liege after less than a year to sign a three-year-deal with the defending champions. However, Club Brugge will not be regaining their title this season. Antwerp and Union will be taking the trophy from them.
