Richard Ledezma has found a new club, as per Voetbal International. The 24-year-old American has an expiring contract with PSV, and will join Chivas on a free transfer.
Ledezma was brought to the Netherlands by PSV at the beginning of 2019. He played 47 matches for Jong PSV and 62 for the first team. Last season, Ledezma was still important for Peter Boszโs team in winning the championship. In total, he was in the starting line-up for 21 Eredivisie matches.
Under Bosz, he was transformed from a midfielder to a wing-back. Ledezma could have signed a new contract, but he chose a new adventure.
Voetbal International reported at the end of April that Chivas would be Ledezmaโs new club. Now images have surfaced of the American at the Mexican airport. In passing by the fans and media, he confirmed that he would sign soon. โSigning for Chivas is a dream come true.โ The clubโs confirmation seems to follow soon.
