Leandro Trossard on Arsenal radar after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea

Sacha Tavolieri is reporting that Arsenal remain interested in Leandro Trossard, however they do not seem him as a priority signing at the moment. The Gunners recently missed out on their main target, with Ukrainian youngster Mykhailo Mudryk joining Chelsea instead.

Trossard looks set to leave Brighton having fallen out with head coach Roberto De Zerbi, with the players agent confirming that both club and player want to part during the January transfer window.

The former Genk midfielder joined Brighton in the summer of 2019 for around 15 million euros. This has been one of the Belgian internationals strongest seasons, scoring seven times and providing three assists in 16 league matches for the Seagulls.

Trossard was also a member of the Belgian World Cup squad which was eliminated during the group stages in Qatar, seeing the end of head coach Roberto Martinez. The Spanish head coach has since been appointed to lead Portugal.
