Lasse Vigen out, Christian Brüls in at Zulte Waregem

Zulte Waregem have announced two squad changes yesterday, with Lasse Vigen having his contract mutually terminated, while Sint-Truiden attacking midfielder Christian Brüls coming in. Lasse Vigen joined the club in the summer of 2021 but has struggled to hold down a regular place in the starting XI, making just 35 appearances in one and a half seasons. The former Fulham and Bronby midfielder is now free to find a new club.

Brüls has signed a two and a half year contract with the club. Sint-Truiden and Brüls had been in a contract stalemate for the past few months, with the club only willing to give the 34 year-old a one year deal, but Brüls was asking for a two year contract.

Brüls has scored once and provided three assists in his 18 appearances this season. The former Nice and Gent player has scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists during his time at the club, in which he has amassed 68 appearances.
