Kortrijk hoping Martin Regali can keep them in the league

Kortrijk have announced the signing of Martin Regali from Ruzomberok on a deal until 2024, with an option for two further years. The 29 year-old Slovakian striker has scored 7 goals and provided two assists in 17 games for Ruzomberok this season. Regali has spent his entire career in Slovakia, playing for 7 seasons with Michalovce before joining Ruzomberok on a free transfer in 2019.

Regali has also been capped four times by Slovakia, making his debut in March 2022 against Norway.

Kortrijk are also trying to move Didier Lamkel Ze, Aleksandr Radovanovic, Alexandre De Bruyn and Amine Benchaib on from the club in January.

Kortrijk have also announced the signing of former Hertha Berlin defender Christalino Atemona. The central defender was on trial with the relegation threatened club for a few weeks and did enough to convince the club to sign him on a permanent basis.

Kortrijk are currently on their third manager of the season, with former Eupen head coach Bernd Storck taking over from Adnan Custovic.
