Kortrijk clear out: Aleksandr Radovanovic, Alexandre De Bruyn and Amine Benchaib on the transfer list

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that alongside Didier Lamkel Ze, Aleksandr Radovanovic, Alexandre De Bruyn and Amine Benchaib have all been told they are free to leave the club. Kortrijk are also expecting there to be a lot of interest in goalkeeper Marko Ilic, who has been the sides best player this season. De Bruyn only joined the side from Gent in the summer, but appears to already be surplus to requirements given that Kortrijk’s head coaching changes.

Kortrijk are on their third head coach of the 2022/2023 season, with former Genk and Eupen manager Bern Storck replacing Adnan Custovic. Custovic had replaced Karim Bellochine but was fired after just 12 games in charge. Storck himself began the season with Eupen, having spent the end of the 2021/2022 season with Genk.

Eupen relieved Storck of his duties and have appointed former Charleroi manager Will Still as manager. In further manager merry-go-rounds, Still has been replaced by former Anderlecht head coach Felice Mazzu.

Kortrijk are currently second bottom of the table, four points from safety, with the side they are chasing ironically being Storck’s former side Eupen.
