Kevin Mac Allister, brother of Liverpool bound Alexis, set to join Union St Gilloise

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Kevin Mac Allister is set to join Union St Gilloise. The central defender is the brother of Alexis Mac Allister, who himself is also on the move to Liverpool. Many have speculated about the move seeing that Union and Brighton are linked in terms of ownership.

Kevin currently plays for Argentinos Juniors, although he did spend a brief period of time on loan with Boca Juniors, where he only made two appearances. The 25-year-old has played 158 games for Juniors, scoring 14 goals from the back. Like Alexis, he is eligible for the Argentinian national side although he has not been capped as of yet.

Union look set to loose their captain this summer. An agreement is set to be reached with Stade Reims over the transfer of Teddy Teuma, who was keen on a return to France where he began his career.
