Kasper Dolberg set to cost Anderlecht just €4.5m

HLN are reporting that Anderlecht are set to sign Nice striker Kasper Dolberg for just €4.5m. Four years ago the French side paid just over €20m for the striker. After a strong first season, the striker struggled in France and looks set to leave Nice with 24 goals in 85 games.

Dolberg spent the 2022/2023 season on loan at two separate clubs. In half a season with Sevilla he did not manage to score in eight games. The Danish international then joined TSG Hoffenheim for the final half of the season, scoring two goals in 14 games.

Nice signed the striker after he scored 45 goals in 119 games for Ajax, who themselves signed the striker from Sikeborg in the summer of 2015. At international level, Dolberg has played 40 games for Denmark and scored 11 goals. Anderlecht will be hoping that a move to Belgium will help to rejuvenate the strikers career, showing the form he had in Ajax.
