Kasper Dolberg hits double figures for the first time since 2019/2020 season with Nice

Kasper Dolberg grabbed his 10th goal of the season on Friday night as Anderlecht beat Westerlo 3-1 away from home. The Dane has now reached double figures for the first time since the 2019/2020 season. This was his first season in France, having been signed by the French side Nice from Ajax. In 23 games for Nice Dolberg scored 11 goals.

It has taken the striker just 15 games for Anderlecht to get into double figures, meaning the Dane now sits top of the scoring charts alongside Cercle Brugge’s Kevin Denkey and Sint-Truiden’s Aboubakary Koita. If he continues on his current form, the 26-year-old could match his best ever league scoring season. The striker scored 16 goals for Ajax during the 2016/2017 Eredivisie season.

Thanks to Dolberg’s goals, Anderlecht are currently second in the league behind Union St Gilloise.
