In his first interview with his new clubโs channels, 22-year-old Australian left-back Jordan Bos revealed that his family have been Feyenoord fans for generations.
โAs a child, I didnโt experience much of the country outside of my summer holidays in the Netherlands, but Iโve had that shirt on my shoulders for countless days,โ Bos explained. โItโs my familyโs club, because my father is Dutch. His whole family has been Feyenoord supporters for generations. Iโve received many messages from people hoping it would happen. Now itโs finally happening.โ
For Bos, his introduction to De Kuip was magical. โIโve heard so many stories about how amazing it is here, of course. But seeing it with my own eyes for the first time was astonishing. I was truly speechless. Itโs such a beautiful stadium.โ
At Feyenoord, Bos will be competing with Gijs Smal for the left-back position. โIโd say Iโm more attacking for a wing-back. Getting forward is one of my strengths. Of course, I can also defend. But itโs mainly my attacking drive and my physical attributes. Iโm strong and fit.โ
