Feyenoord fan from birth: โ€œnewโ€ signing Jordan Bos always linked to Rotterdam club

In his first interview with his new clubโ€™s channels, 22-year-old Australian left-back Jordan Bos revealed that his family have been Feyenoord fans for generations.

โ€œAs a child, I didnโ€™t experience much of the country outside of my summer holidays in the Netherlands, but Iโ€™ve had that shirt on my shoulders for countless days,โ€ Bos explained. โ€œItโ€™s my familyโ€™s club, because my father is Dutch. His whole family has been Feyenoord supporters for generations. Iโ€™ve received many messages from people hoping it would happen. Now itโ€™s finally happening.โ€

For Bos, his introduction to De Kuip was magical. โ€œIโ€™ve heard so many stories about how amazing it is here, of course. But seeing it with my own eyes for the first time was astonishing. I was truly speechless. Itโ€™s such a beautiful stadium.โ€

At Feyenoord, Bos will be competing with Gijs Smal for the left-back position. โ€œIโ€™d say Iโ€™m more attacking for a wing-back. Getting forward is one of my strengths. Of course, I can also defend. But itโ€™s mainly my attacking drive and my physical attributes. Iโ€™m strong and fit.โ€
