Jeremy Doku believes he has the x-factor needed to make a difference in Qatar for the Red Devils

Jeremy Doku believes that he can make a difference for the Red Devils in Qatar, regardless as to whether he starts or not. As reported by Voetbalkrant, Doku said to the press “Everyone wants a starting place. But even if I get five minutes I will give everything. I know I have a different profile compared to other guys. I know I can break up a game”.

Former Anderlecht attacker Doku has struggled with injuries so far this season, only managing 8 matches for French side Stade Rennes. Doku has been capped 11 times by the national team, scoring twice. His breakthrough game for the Red Devils came during Euro 2020 against Italy, where he played 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to the eventual champions.

Belgium begin their World Cup campaign against Canada on the 23rd of November. During their only warm up game for the tournament they lost 2-1 to Egypt in Kuwait.
