Jackson Tchatchoua joins Hellas Verona on loan with purchase option

Charleroi have announced that Jackson Tchatchoua is to join Serie A side Hellas Verona on loan with a purchase option. Marco Baroni’s side are currently fourth in the table after two matchdays, having beaten both Empoli and Roma. Tchatchoua joins fellow Belgian Cyril Nogonge, who played for Club Brugge in 2018. The side also have a number of other former Pro League players in Martin Hongla and Thomas Henry.

The 21-year-old, who can play on either wing and as a full-back, came through the Charleori academy. After making his debut in 2021, he has gone on to make 64 appearances for the first team, scoring twice and providing four assists. The Zebras have already moved to replace the outgoing Tchatchoua, with Parfait Guiagon joining from Maccabi Tel Aviv. They also recently signed 29-year-old Norwegian Velte Dragsnes from Lillestrøm.

The Zebras are currently winless in the Belgian Pro League.
