Iranian international Ali Gholizadeh set for move to Turkey

According to Voetbalkrant, Iran international Ali Gholizadeh will be departing Charleroi to move to Turkey. Kasimpasa appear to be the side that the creative midfielder will join, although that is still to be confirmed. It has been well known that the player was available all transfer window, yet the move did not appear to be forthcoming. Now, on deadline day, it seems that the winger will finally get the transfer he wanted.

If the player does join Kasimpasa, he will link up with former teammate at Charleroi Mamadou Fall. The Senegalese winger joined the club last season.

Gholizadeh joined Charleroi from Iranian side Saipa FC back in 2018 for around about 300,000 Euros. He has made 140 appearances for the Zebras in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing 26 assists. This season he has only managed one goal and one assist in 18 matches across the league and cup. Gholizadeh is a versatile winger who can play on either flank or in central attacking areas.

Charleroi recently welcomed Vakoun Bayo back to the club on loan, with the striker returning after he moved to Watford in the summer.
