Ibrahim Sangaré will leave PSV this summer

Eindhovens Dagblad are reporting that Ibrahim Sangaré will leave PSV Eindhoven in the coming weeks. The 25-year-old midfielder has been a crucial player for PSV ever since he signed from Toulouse in 2020. After attracting interest from several top clubs, it’s been revealed that he’s likely to leave the Philips Stadion this summer. PSV value the player at around €37m (£31.8m), but a number of clubs are reportedly reluctant to pay that fee.

Last season Sangaré featured 45 times in all competitions as PSV finished second in the Eredivisie and lifted the KNVB Cup. Sangaré scored eight goals and provided three assists. PSV’s new head coach, Peter Bosz will be keen to keep the defensive midfielder at the club. However, if an offer comes in from the right club, it’s likely Sangaré will take the opportunity and leave. Previously, Tottenham, Liverpool and PSG have all been linked with a move for the midfielder.
