Hull interested in Oostende’s Thierry Ambrose

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Hull City are interested in Oostende striker Thierry Ambrose. The French striker, who has scored four goals and provided three assists for Oostende this season, is under contract until 2024. According to HNB, neither Oostende or Amrbose would be against the transfer happening.

Former Manchester City youth player Ambrose joined Oostende from Metz in the summer of 2021, having also spent time at Lens and NAC Breda. The Guadalope international only scored once in 44 appearances for Metz after signing for them in the summer of 2020 following a loan spell. During his time at Oostende, the striker has played 55 games, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists.

Oostende side have been incredibly active during the winter transfer window, bringing in a number of players as they look to reverse the team’s fortunes. Kelvin Arase recently joined form Karlsruher on loan until the end of the season.

Striker Ivan Durdov, defender Matej Rodin and midfielder Pierre Dwomoh have all joined in recent weeks.
