Genoa interested in signing Noah Ohio from fellow 777 club Standard Liege

Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that Genoa are interested in signing Standard Liege striker Noah Ohio. Both clubs are owned by 777, meaning that finding a deal should be relatively easy given the relationship between the two sides. In recent days Ohio has stated that he wants to remain at Standard next season, however with two 777 clubs involved that may be a decision that is not his to make.

20-year-old Dutch forward Ohio joined Standard last summer from RB Leipzig. He had loan spells with Vitesse and Austria Wien, scoring six goals in 31 games for the latter. In 29 games for Standard he scored five goals in 29 games, but impressed with his all round play. There had been hopes that he would be the striker to lead the side this season as they looked to compete for a top six finish. Should Ohio leave, Standard will certainly have to bring in a replacement.
