Former PSV and Swansea City winger Luciano Narsingh continues his career in Cyprus

Former PSV Eindhoven and Swansea City winger Luciano Narsingh has joined Cypriot side Nea Salamina Famagusta. The 32-year-old reached an agreement in principle with the club on Tuesday morning.

Narsingh was available on a free transfer following his departure from Polish side Miedź Legnica. Last season he featured 31 times for the side that finished rock bottom of the Polish Ekstraklasa. He scored five goals and provided one assist. After experiencing recent spells in Poland and Australia, Narsingh’s next destination is Cyprus, where he’ll play for first division side Nea Salamina Famagusta. 

Luciano Narsingh played 159 times for PSV between 2012 and 2017. The 19-time Netherlands international won two Eredivisie titles and three Dutch Super Cups during his time in Eindhoven. In 2009 he won the KNVB Cup with Heerenveen. 

Narsingh moved to Swansea in 2017, where he played 31 times in the Premier League. He scored twice and provided six assists in all competitions for the Swans. In 2019 he moved to Feyenoord, before moving on to FC Twente, Sydney FC followed by a disappointing season with Miedź Legnica. Now a new chapter in his career has begun with Nea Salamina Famagusta.
