Former Chelsea winger set to continue his career with RFC Liege

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Kylian Hazard has found a new club for the 2025/2026 season. The brother of Eden and Thorgan will join up with RFC Liege in the Challenger Pro League and sign a contract for two seasons. Recently, Hazard has been playing in the amateur Belgian leagues as he looked to regain his fitness, spending time with Tubize-Braine in the Belgian third tier. After three goals and 20 appearances for the side he is back in the second tier of Belgian football.

The 29-year-old, like his brothers, was once part of the Chelsea set up, although he never made a first team appearance at Stamford Bridge. Instead, he spent time on loan in Hungary with Ujpest and in Belgium with Cercle Brugge. In 2019 he joined Cercle on a permanent basis, going on to play 68 games, scoring six goals.

In 2022 he was loaned to RWDM, who he joined on a permanent basis at the end of the 2021/2022 season. Hazard had the best season of his career to date with RWDM when they won promotion in 2022/2023. In 22 games he scored six goals and grabbed seven assists before an injury restricted his chances in the Pro League. After a brief loan spell with Beveren, he joined the amateur side Tubize-Braine. Hopefully the winger can get back to his previous best while at RFC Liege next season.
