Former Belgian international and Serie A midfielder offers himself to newly promoted Beerschot

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that former Belgian international Radja Nainggolan has offered himself to newly promoted Beerschot. The 36-year-old was part of the Beerschot academy many years ago and became an ambassador for the club four years ago. He is currently playing in Indonesia and seemed to re-commit his future to playing in the country only back in April. According to the reports, the wage demands of Nainggolan are certainly affordable for the newly promoted side, but it is unclear if they have genuine interest in bringing the player back from Indonesia. Nainggolan recently played in the Pro League for Beerschot’s rivals Antwerp, but had his contract terminated by the club. The midfielder made 55 appearances for the Great Old, scoring six goals and providing five assists. During his prime the player made a name for himself in Serie A, playing for clubs such as Roma and Inter.
