Former Barcelona striker scores a wondergoal for Club Brugge in win over OH Leuven

Ferran Jutglà was the hero for Club Brugge as his wondergoal was the difference in last weekends clash with OH Leuven. Club Brugge, who have lofty ambitions of winning the title, only came away from their trip to relegation threatened OHL with a 1-0 win. The side had plenty of chances and on another day could have won by four or five. However, it was the magic of Jutglà that meant they at least took all three points.

Since returning from a lengthy injury setback, Jutglà has managed to score three league goals in 11 games. During the 2022/2023 season he scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 34 games, having left Barcelona in the summer. The now 24-year-old forward only played nine games for the Barcelona first team, scoring twice. He spent time on loan at fellow Catalonian side Espanyol, as well as much time in the Barcelona second team. During the 2021/2022 season with the second team he scored 19 goals in 32 games.
