Former Arsenal and Lyon midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide set for Eredivisie adventure with Heracles

LDH are reporting that Jeff Reine-Adelaide is set for a move to Heracles. The 27-year-old French midfielder will leave Serie B side Salernitana to join the Eredivisie side on a two-year deal. This will be Reine-Adelaideโ€™s third new country in the space of three seasons, having spent the 2023/2024 campaign with RWDM in the Belgian Pro League. During that season he made 27 appearances and scored three goals.

Prior to his adventures in Italy and Belgium, Reine-Adelaide spent most of his career in France. After coming through at Lens he joined Arsenal in 2015. The midfielder only made eight appearances for Arsenalโ€™s first team before leaving to join Angers in 2018. He impressed for the Ligue 1 side over the 2018/2019 season and moved to Lyon. Reine-Adelaide never quite made things work at Lyon, with just 48 appearances between 2019 and 2023. He spent a season on loan with Nice and another half season on loan at Troyes. Last season he only made 13 appearances for Salernitana, scoring one goal.
