Fiorentina are interested in signing Orkun Kökcü from Feyenoord should they fail to get their number one target, Antonin Barak.
Kökcü has been a key player for Feyenoord for the past three seasons in the heart of midfield, becoming one of the Eredivisie’s most exciting prospects.
His performances have captured the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with AC Milan linked to the 21-year-old last year, meeting with his entourage.
Now, another Italian side are interested in him in the form of Fiorentina, who are on the lookout for a midfielder to add to their ranks.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Kökcü is who they could focus their efforts on in the next few weeks if they can’t sign Barak from Verona.
They’d have to a considerable amount of money to get him though with his contract lasting until 2025 and him reportedly happy to stay at De Kuip.
