In 2023, there is only one out-field player in Europe who has played more minutes for club and country than Feyenoord defender Dávid Hancko.
According to CIES Football, Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes tops the list for the most minutes played in 2023, totalling 5,748 minutes. Dávid Hancko comes in at second place, having played 5,248 minutes of football so far in 2023.
Hancko has featured in every single minute for Feyenoord so far this season. The Slovakia international centre-back has completed 90 minutes of football in 14 Eredivisie matches, five Champions League matches and the match against PSV for the Johan Cruyff Shield.
Dávid Hancko has played more minutes of football in 2023 than Anontio Rüdiger (5,223), Federico Valverde (5,002) and Manuel Akanji (5,049). Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida is the first Dutchman on the list, landing 29th place with a total of 4,590 minutes played. Mats Weiffer occupies 50th place on the list.
