Feyenoord target missing from Rangers training, Lille want to make a second offer

Feyenoord reportedly view Rangersโ€™ Hamza Igamane as an ideal reinforcement, but according to Sky Sports, competition from Lille is becoming increasingly fierce.

Sky Sports revealed on Monday evening that Feyenoord are in the race for Igamaneโ€™s signature. Lille, however, is a major competitor, as the French side is also eager to sign the 22-year-old forward. An initial loan offer was rejected by Rangers, but Lille will make a second offer to the Scots. The French club hope that Rangers will now accept the offer due to the current situation.

Last weekend, the Moroccan declined to come on as a substitute against St. Mirren due to an injury. However, an MRI scan revealed no signs of injury, so Rangers believe Igamane didnโ€™t want to come on as a substitute to force a transfer. He also didnโ€™t show up for training on Tuesday, and the SPL side are reportedly โ€œpreparing for a future without Igamane.โ€

Like Lille, Feyenoord are reportedly interested in loaning Igamane. In the coming days, Rangers and the Moroccan striker will have to decide for themselves where his future lies this season.
