Feyenoord sign Nice defender Jordan Lotomba to replace Lutsharel Geertruida

Feyenoord have officially announced the signing of OGC Nice full-back Jordan Lotomba. The eight-time Switzerland international has put pen to paper on a three-year contract at De Kuip, valid until 2027. Brian Priske‘s side reportedly recruited the 25-year-old in a cut-price deal, as he’d entered the final year of his contract at Nice.

Jordan Lotomba has featured 143 times for the Ligue 1 side since his arrival from Young Boys in 2020. Over the last four years, he’s played in nearly ever position with either right or left-back being his preferred place on the field. At Feyenoord he’ll take the place of Lutsharel Geertruida, who recently left De Kuip for RB Leipzig.

‘I am very happy to be here and I really want to defend the colours of this beautiful club,’ Jordan Lotomba told the club website. ‘Of course I know Feyenoord from the Europa League game in 2019, when I played with Young Boys in De Kuip. The audience then raged as if it were a World Cup final, very impressive. My former teammate Calvin Stengs also told me a lot of positive things about the club. I can’t wait to compete with Feyenoord for the prizes and to be active in the Champions League.’
