Feyenoord in for quick triple-threat move as transfer window heats up

Feyenoord are expected to complete the signing of Tsuyoshi Watanabe today, while moves for Casper Tengstedt and Jordan Bos are heating up.

The Japanese central defender joins from KAA Gent for around eight million euros and will quickly join manager Robin van Persieโ€™s squad. This means Feyenoord have secured their desired central defender, especially after Thomas Beelenโ€™s serious leg injury.

Fortunately, the cancellation of Dรกvid Hanckoโ€™s transfer to Al-Nassr has no bearing on the move, as Martijn Krabbendam notes for VI.

The transfer of Casper Tengstedt is also nearing completion, with a few details reportedly still being finalised. Feyenoord are also busy with the acquisition of Australian left-back Jordan Bos from Westerlo. However, this deal is seemingly not as far ahead as Tengstedtโ€™s or Watanabeโ€™s.
