Feyenoord eyeing permanent move for Liverpool defender Nat Phillips

The Athletic reports that Feyenoord are showing strong interest in Liverpool’s Nat Phillips. The 26-year-old defender is looking to secure a permanent move away from Anfield this summer after featuring just two times in the Premier League last season.

Feyenoord are said to be big fans of Nat Phillips. The former Bournemouth and Stuttgart centre-back is valued at around £10m. The Eredivisie champions are yet to submit an offer for the player, but seeing as the club will be playing Champions League football next season, it could be a brilliant move for Nat Phillips.

Leeds United are also interested in Phillips. The side that was recently relegated to the Championship are in talks with former Norwich boss Daniel Farke over their vacant manager position.

Nat Phillips has played 29 times for Liverpool since making his debut in 2020. He’s experienced successful loan spells with Stuttgart and Bournemouth. Last season he made just five appearances in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp. A move away from Anfield could be the best option for the defender.
