According to reports from 1908.nl Feyenoord have advanced in their talks to sign Brighton & Hove Albionâs Jakub Moder (25).
The Rotterdammers are willing to pay around two million euros for the Pole, whose contract runs until June. Moder played in the youth teams of Warta Posen and Lech PoznaĆ in his own country before the Seagulls picked him up on transfer deadline day in the summer transfer of 2020 for around eleven million euros.
Moder, who has also turned out 31 times for the Polish national team, scored twice in seventy official matches for the south coast team while registering four assists.
With these concrete moves for Moder, Feyenoord have abandoned their previous interest in Chelseaâs midfielder Cesare Casadei. The move for the 22-year-old fell apart due to rising costs and fierce competition from both Napoli and Torino.
Feyenoord are putting great confidence in Moder. He has shown great dexterity across the park, with a clear ability to play in holding, central, and offensive midfield positions. According to Transfermarkt, Moderâs current market value sits at 10 million euros. He has previously attracted interest from VfB Stuttgart and 1. FC Union Berlin.
